Four neighbourhood cafés across Melbourne's south-east, built on the same simple idea: make coffee worth crossing the street for, and treat the people who drink it like regulars from day one.
The Standard
A café that remembers your name.
Coffee Ministry grew the way the best local cafés do — one good coffee at a time, until the regulars became the reason. Across Armadale, Caulfield North, Malvern East and Brighton, the fit-out changes but the standard doesn't.
Specialty beans, dialled-in every morning. All-day food made to go with the coffee. And a team that treats hospitality as the craft it is — the kind of place where they've started your order before you reach the counter.
Beyond the Cup
A tight-knit crew, and a bit of good beyond the cup.
The people behind the machine are what make each café feel like the neighbourhood's living room — and they show up for more than the morning rush.
In December 2025 the whole group came together for a day — $1 from every coffee, across all four cafés — for Sri Lankan cyclone relief. A small act, but together it added up.
